CGC is offering a new mini course! Enroll today and you'll receive over the next three weeks paradigm-shifting content from our new education mini course series, "Improper Ideology: America's Hidden History."
The White House issued an executive order in January creating "Task Force 250" under the Department of Defense to prepare America for a national celebration in 2026 of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the Founding Fathers and the Constitution.
The White House has taken on the responsibility of telling the story of America through its lens. That lens is blurry on the facts.
CGC provides clarity.
In March, the White House issued an executive order to root out any "improper ideology" from schools, libraries, museums and other institutions of knowledge in America.
Let’s learn what this means and become more equipped with discernment to identify false narratives and counter with truth; and fill in omissions and informational gaps with facts from credible historical sources.
None of us can teach what we don't know, whether we’re teachers, preachers, parents or students.
CGC is responding to the White House executive orders with an affordable mini course that empowers every individual with fact-based information on America's hidden history, which is being labeled by the White House as “improper ideology” and currently being removed from libraries, higher education and other institutions of learning.
At CGC, we believe the truth ought not take a back seat to false narratives. So, we've taken a micro-session from our trademarked Conversation's Journey® process (which has a five-year track record of success) and boiled it down to three sections that can be read like a story, sent via email.
You think you know about the American Revolution, WWI & WWII? You'll learn historical facts about the World War that American colonists, led by George Washington, fought before the American Revolution.
You'll learn historical facts about the Declaration of Independence, the Founding Fathers and the role of race and religion in the formation of the nation and ongoing struggles in evolving toward a "more perfect union."
You'll learn paradigm-shifting historical facts about America’s Third Revolution that shocked the world in the 20th century. It may shock you too when you learn it never ended!
Our goal is for everyone to have the opportunity to be exposed to the truth. This mini course would be a great learning tool to use with children (as we do with ours!). There is so much about America’s true history missing from K-12 schools and higher education curricula that it can be difficult to know what's missing.
In each weekly email lesson throughout the mini course, we will include questions for reflection that can also be used as conversation starters.
By enrolling in our mini course, you'll receive each week an emailed lesson that takes about 15 minutes or less to digest at your leisure. Each lesson comes complete with links to primary sources and a resource recommendation to add to your home library.
Each lesson is produced as a simple true story you can share with your family and friends. The lessons can also be used as conversation starters among your networks, faith communities and skeptics. Use your lessons to engage in productive dialogue on politics, religion and race.
We believe that high-quality education should be accessible to everyone. That's why we offer actual content from our trademarked Conversations Journey process for less than two cups of coffee.
At CGC we’re about building a common ground of knowledge and understanding of racialized dynamics in society today through an informed lens of historical context. We equip you with knowledge, resources and a process to engage in productive dialogue.
So let’s stop arguing and start learning.
We hope our mini course will pique your curiosity and inspire you to engage CGC for a full Conversations Journey experience with your group of up to 30 co-learners. Our clients are K-12 schools, higher education, library systems, CEOs, municipalities, police departments, healthcare organizations, community groups, churches and faith communities. We can partner with any group.
